Holy Spirit: Empowers us to be Witnesses

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in
Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Ice Breaker: How would you describe your laugh?

Acts 3:12-20, John 15:18-27, Luke 4:18 (Ask the Cell members to share what stood out to them from
the verses).

1. The Scriptures show what Holy Spirit did in the lives of the disciples after Jesus ascended. What differences do you see in their way of life before and after receiving the Holy Spirit?

2. Have you ever shared the gospel before? Share a time where you shared the gospel with a
non-believer and what came out of that sharing.

3. In your day-to-day life, give examples of how can you practically be a witness for Jesus.

4. We all need the Holy Spirit to empower us for the things He has called us to do. Pray that you will be filled with the Holy Spirit so that you have the boldness to be a witness for Him on earth. Share and pray for your individual needs.

This week, continue to take time to prayerfully listen to Holy Spirit. Write down what he says and
respond in obedience to what he says.
