A Purposeful Love Story - the story of true love - was phenomenally presented by the Oils of Gladness crew at Watoto Church this past weekend. The show depicted a number of themes relevant to the young person, particularly sacrifice and the value of waiting for true love.

The story was presented in flashback; with the plot following a mother who narrates to her 18-year old daughter what she’d learnt from her failed relationships back in college. And how she finally met her husband.




At this point, the audience is drawn into a reverie of her younger days at a college setting in the 1980s. The drama was accompanied with song and dance.

”I am speechless. The young people have brought out the message of true love in the clearest way possible," said Pastor Chris Komagum after watching the production.

To make good on what they had learnt from the show, the young people in attendance signed 'True Love Waits' cards as a commitment to sexual purity.
