Robert from Kyengera is a member of Watoto Church West.
“I’m Filling God’s House by inviting my workmates and the new friends that I meet at parties to church for weekend services, the Power FM Movie Nights and other events,” he says.

In the September edition of the PowerFM Guntu parties, a few Watoto Church cell groups hosted a party as a direct means of sharing and reaching out to community with the love of Christ.
Julius Mukuye who hosts a cell group in Mengo (Kampala), hosted such a party for his friends and schoolmates.
“I use these parties to invite my friends to church. Many of them give their lives to Christ after attending a service. We also use these parties to remind ourselves of godly values and to strengthen our walk with Christ,” he says.
The next party is on Friday 28 October 2011. If you are a cell host, your cell can take this opportunity to reach out to neighbours and friends on your Focus 10 list. Go to www.watotochurch.com/fillgodshouse for more.
Matthew 28: 18-20
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations…”
Basic principles to love God, love people and reach out to a lost and dying world.
1. Go: Make up your mind to share the love of Christ with those around you.
2. Tell: Share the message of the Gospel
3. Walk: Lovingly help people become rooted in their walk. Walk with them.
4. Be: Keep serving and be an example of God’s saving grace. Be an Ambassador for Christ today.
Keep sharing the goodness of God and look for opportunities to be a blessing.
Remember to invite someone along for the Annual Watoto Church Festival of Hope this Sunday 28th August at Watoto Church West, with guest speaker John Burns. Bring along a packed lunch and enough to share with a Watoto child and mother in your cell.
People are the greatest resource on the planet. Investing into them is one of the most important expressions of love, and it has eternal benefits.
As we focus on Filling God’s House, let’s genuinely care about people. Spend time in prayer, especially for your focus ten group.
Share the message of hope in Jesus Christ and believe God for His life-transforming power to save.
As you present a loving and caring Father God, people will naturally be drawn to the church – His living body.
Every week as you host, lead or attend cell, take time to reflect on your attitude towards people and the things you can do to positively do to impact their lives.
God bless you.
The Church is the hope of the world. And the heartbeat of Watoto Church is always to celebrate Christ and care for community. In 2011 particularly, our focus is for each one of our church members to go out into their world and reach one other person with the love of Jesus.
After a phenomenal year in 2010 “Building God’s House”, we are even more excited and expectant this year as we focus on expanding God’s Kingdom in our cities and nations as we “Fill God’s House” as each one reaches one.
Our goal is not to increase in number, but to reach people with the love of Christ, helping them experience this love practically in their daily lives and transforming their world in the process.
Practical Tools To Help You Reach Out:
Our prayer is that you will take ownership of the vision and passionately do everything you can to make the name of Jesus famous. Reach those close to you with the love of Christ.

2011 is here and comes with new hopes and expectations. We are grateful for finishing yet another phenomenal year in 2010 building God’s House, but even more excited to start a new one, especially as we seek to expand God’s Kingdom in our cities and nations.
To achieve this, we will facilitate a four month series titled “Jesus’ Mission”. This will take place in the first quarter (January-April). The message is about envisioning and provoking people to develop a passion for perishing souls. The next four months’ series (May-August) will be “Our Missionary Mandate”. Here, we will unveil the Great Commission, preaching from Acts 1-6.
The last quarter (September-December), we will focus on the final series for 2011 titled “Soul Winning”. Here, we will look at ways to reach the lost through evangelism including street evangelism, personal evangelism, social networking, literature, events and others. During this time, we will host a multimedia production of Broadway quality called Heaven’s Gates and Hell’s Flames. Watoto Church will present this stellar stage production in the latter part of September before planning our annual gift to the city and nation in the form of the Christmas Cantata in December.
Our prayer is that as a member of Watoto Church, you will catch the vision and passionately rally after it, doing everything you can to make the name of Jesus famous. Reach those close to you with the love of Christ. Subscribe to our eNewsletter for regular updates. Also be the first to know about any new events and updates and help us spread the word by becoming one of our Watoto Church networkers.
